Hornsea One was fully commissioned in 2019 and it is one of the largest offshore wind farms in the world. It is located approximately 120 km off the coast of Yorkshire and has a rated capacity of up to 1,200MW, and the project will generate clean, renewable, cost-competitive energy for about 1 million homes, while reducing carbon emissions significantly.
The project is developed by Ørsted to whom JUMBO Consulting Group provided procurement and contract management services, mainly for the transmission assets.
